Beginner Level
In this once a week class, students will be taught proven strategies to help raise their scores on the ACT exam. During class, learners will have the opportunity to take a short sample test and learn ways to help with time management and methodology to solving problems most commonly encountered on the ACT. They will also be given a sneak peek at the most commonly used strategies on the test. Additionally, we will work on mindset and ways to overcome test taking anxiety that many students experience. This is a highly interactive course and students will be allowed to participate as much or as little as they choose. Week #1 November 4 - Process of Elimination Week #2 November 11 - Plug In Strategy Week #3 November 18 - Working with Commas Strategy Week #4 November 25 - Reading to Recognize Strategy
