ACT 4-Week Prescriptive Prep Class
In this 4-Week course, students will receive strategies, techniques, and skills for each test of the ACT. Additionally, students will work through official ACT practice tests and be provided feedback. This feedback will be used to drive preparation strategy in the weeks leading up to the test.

US Grade 8 - 11
This multi-day class will meet once per week for 55 minutes. During class, we will come together to discuss overall test strategies, strategies for each test, and how to identify specific types of questions. We will also discuss the most-missed problems from the tests, as well as strategies and multiple ways to attack the problems. I will encourage students to ask questions and help answer each others' questions. All questions will be from actual College Board materials so they will be very similar to the ones they will see on test day. Each class will include both direct instruction and student feedback as we discuss strategies and review exercises. Students do not need any prior experience in test prep; I will seek to improve each student beyond his or her current readiness. Practice test sections will typically be assigned for homework; we will review them the following class. Below is a sample schedule: Week 1: English Week 2: Math Week 3: Science Week 4: Reading

I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Teaching with a concentration in grades 7-12. I've taught high school mathematics for 6 years including Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. During Covid, I had the opportunity to teach virtually and loved it. I've worked with students who are autistic, have ADHD, ODD, and anxiety to name a few.
I love the daily grind and working to improve my teaching processes and techniques. Teaching provides me the platform I need to constantly be challenged.
