Students will be able to complete various graphic organizers, use that information in outlines, and then write a 5-6 paragraph paper.
I have been a teacher and counselor for 33 years. I have taught this lesson successfully year after year.
This class requires using google docs, and each student needs to have their own device.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
If a grade is needed, I will use a rubric. Parent needs to indicate that via OS message if they do want that. Otherwise this class is designed to help the struggling writer feel more comfortable with the process.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I will have handouts posted Outschool.
