Class Experience
This is the camp version of my very popular middle school essay writing class (4 times/1 week). Look for my listing of Middle School Essay Writing if you prefer a 1 time/week for 4 weeks formatting. I also offer a flex version of this class for a more flexible schedule. In this course, we will cover the fundamental skills to creating a strong essay. Student will learn what are the elements of a strong thesis, how an essay should be organized, how to include relevant and useful evidence and support, and finally how to develop a strong introduction and conclusion to give your essay the most effectiveness.
I have a master's degree from the University of Cambridge and 15 years of teaching experience.
We will complete in class activities as a group. Students will have the opportunity to complete essays outside of class for additional feedback if they choose.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
