This 8-week course will cover the 8th Grade Common Core Standards. This is a great opportunity for students to get additional help after school or for homeschooled students to get math instruction for the year.

Taught by a certified middle school math teacher.

Students will have homework assigned to them every week. They will have several options to choose from which will include solving real-world problems, creating a presentation to teach the class, or a traditional worksheet. Homework should take no more than 1 hour every week.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Nearpod

Instructors assess students using homework, quizzes, and unit assessments. These assessments will be graded and shared with families via Outschool, and instructors will provide a report card upon completion of the course.

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
