However, if you feel your child is excelling in math and needs a challenge, please feel free to enroll them! This Summer course will be a great opportunity to get a head start on seventh math concepts or gain more individualized practice for students who have just completed seventh grade. This course will meet twice a week. The first meeting of the week will cover the new concept and allow students to practice and explore the standard. The second meeting of the week will allow students to go over their assignments, review the concept and play a math-based game. Optional, weekly homework will be provided. Each homework packet will have several options covering procedural fluency, conceptual understanding, and mathematical reasoning.
