8 Week SAT Math Bootcamp!

The SAT requires a different test taking approach than is required on a regular school assessment. Since many of the best colleges look at SAT scores as part of their admission process, it is important to study for the SAT just as you would for any other class. 

in this 8 week course we will cycle through the 4 content areas that are tested on the SAT test. These area are:
- Heart of Algebra
- Problem Solving & Data Analysis
- Advanced Math
- Geometry & Trigonometry

Basics - The first 4 weeks.
Focusing on: Formulas, core concepts and direct problem solving.
The 1st 4 weeks will focus on formulas and examples for each concept area.
There will be 2-4 practice sets assigned per lesson for individual practice. The practice sets for the 1st 4 week are topic specific. Each practice set includes the questions, the answers, and a full solution set including test taking strategies.

Advanced - The second 4 weeks.
Focusing on: Strategies, more difficult questions, and analysis questions.
The 2nd 4 weeks will focus on test taking strategies and more difficult question types. There will be one practice set assigned per lesson for individual practice. The practice set for the 2nd 4 weeks is a mixed set including all topics in that content area, and contains a mix of easier and more difficult problems. The practice set will include the questions, the answers, and the fully worked out solution set including test taking strategies.

There will be 2 full SAT math practice tests available during the course. 
SAT Math Practice Test 1 - Assigned on Week 4
SAT Math Practice Test 2 - Assigned on Week 8

The class will be structured as follows:
   5 minutes - Welcome and Warmup

 10-15 minutes per topic area. Review for each topic. 
This includes formulas, example problems and practice problems.
