Class Experience

US Grade 9 - 12
Easy to Join during any Week of the syllabus, because this class is cyclical! In this SAT Prep Class, we will tackle sections of the math portion each week and you will be given a Chapter Practice Test at the end of each week. Test Taking is a skill in and of itself, and I will let you in on the tips and tricks of taking standardized tests, as well as teaching you the best modes of study for the SAT. Taking practice tests, and studying practice tests will boost your confidence and desensitize you to the stressors of standardized tests!

We utilize the I do, We do, You do method of teaching. First I will do and explain a problem(s), we will do a problem(s) together, and then the students will practice problems on their own while I check for their understanding. During practice time, students may work together, some students (voluntarily) may be asked to "tutor" or "teach" other students or the whole class to apply the final depth of knowledge, and/or receive 1-on-1 assistance with me in a break-out room.

Students will receive notes, worksheets, and practice tests in the classroom every Monday that correspond to each week's lesson.
