US Grade 4
This is a small group 4th Grade Math class. There will only be 10 students in each class. This class will meet 4 days per week for 2 weeks so that students will be able to grasp the standards covered each day. This class is a good fit for students that have completed 3rd Grade Math and want to get a head start for the next school term. This class is also a good fit for students that have completed 4th Grade Math but want to review those critical skills taught during the school year. Disclaimer: This is a review class only. The students will be reviewing or learning new skills for 4th Grade. Lessons will be taught using Zoom whiteboard. I will be using the I do, we do, you do strategy for the lessons. The students will be given individual time to complete problems on the whiteboard to show understanding. Day 1: Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions Day 2: Simplify Fractions Day 3: Add and Subtract Fractions with Like Denominators Day 4: Add and Subtract Fractions with Unlike Denominators Day 5: Decimals - Tenths, Hundredths, Thousandths Day 6: Add and Subtract Decimals Day 7: Calendar Day 8: Elapsed Time
