US Grade 4
This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts taught through Eureka Math, Grade 4, Module 3. This class does not use problems from the textbook, and does not teach the concepts using the same methodologies as the textbook. Learners are able to bring problems from their textbook for help and clarification, but they must already have the materials as materials and/or access to the Eureka curriculum will not be provided in this class. Instead, this class follows the same sequence of concepts as the textbook in order to supplement learning. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this course. Days 1 and 2: Topic A--Area and Perimeter of Rectangles Days 3 and 4: Topic B--Multiplication by 10, 100, and 1000 Days 5 and 6: Topic C--Multiply Multi-Digit Numbers (up to four digits) by Single-Digit Numbers Days 7 and 8: Topic D and E--Multiplication Word Problems, and Dividing Two-Digit Numbers by Single-Digit Numbers Days 9 and 10: Topic F--Factor Pairs, Prime/Composite, Divisibility Rules, and Multiples Days 11 and 12: Topic G-- Dividing Three-Digit and Four-Digit Numbers by Single-Digit Numbers Days 13 and 14: Topic H--Multiplying Two-Digit by Two-Digit Numbers Please note that this is a multi-day class with a set schedule. Please review the entire schedule before enrolling, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded. Thank you!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I have been teaching in the public school setting for the past fifteen years, and tutoring privately for the past six years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish. I especially enjoy working with students in small groups or individually, and have recently developed skills as an online educator due to school closures. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy watching television and movies, and traveling with my family.
