4 Lessons
over 1 WeekLesson 1:
Place Value & 4-Digit Addition & Subtraction
+Students will understand place value to the thousands, compare & order numbers in the thousands, and round to the nearest 10, 100, or 1,000.
+Students will add 4-digit numbers using regrouping (carrying).
+Students will subtract 4-digit numbers using regrouping (borrowing). 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Multiplication & Division Facts
+Students will be able to skip count.
+Students will practice solving multiplication facts 1-12.
+Students will discuss the relationship between multiplication and division.
+Students will practice solving division facts 1-12. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Fractions & Decimals
+Students will discuss the basics of fractions: what are they, what is the numerator & what does it show, what is the denominator & what does it show.
+Students will represent fractions by naming them and drawing them.
+Students will be able to compare fractions with the same denominators.
+Students will discuss the basics of decimals: what are they, how do they relate to fractions, & decimal place value including tenths and hundredths.
+Students will compare and order decimals. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Time & Money
+Students will tell time to the minute.
+Students will solve problems using elapsed time.
+Students will review the different coins & bills (this will be using American money).
+Students will be able to add and subtract money amounts (also using American money) in real-life scenarios. 50 mins online live lesson
