Week 1Lesson 1Identifying and Counting Dollars and CoinsStudents will be introduced to pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, the $1.00 bill, and $5.00 bill and be able to count by 1's to count pennies and $1.00 bills, 5's to count nickels and $5,00 bills, 10's to count dimes, and 25's to count quarters.Week 2Lesson 2Adding Coins Up To $1.00Students will be able to count combinations of different coins transitioning from counting by 25's to 10's to 5's to 1's as well as using addition to add money totals together up to $1.00.Week 3Lesson 3Making Change From $1.00Students will be able to make change from $1.00 by using a subtraction equation or counting on (starting at the price of the item and counting up to $1.00 to find the difference).Week 4Lesson 4Adding Dollars and Coins Over $1.00Students will be able to count combinations of different dollars and coins transitioning from counting by 100's to 25's to 10's to 5's to 1's as well as using addition to add money totals together up to $5.00.Week 5Lesson 5Making Change From Totals Greater Than $1.00Students will be able to make change from $2.00, $3.00, $4.00, or $5.00 by using a subtraction equation or counting on (starting at the price of the item and counting up to $2.00, $3.00, $4.00, or $5.00 to find the difference).

Homework Offered
One 1 page homework activity will be shared per lesson. This can be turned in once completed for feedback. There will also be one Kahoot! activity per lesson.Assessments Offered
