Description

Class Experience

Each week, students will take notes on the lessons for the week by way of Edpuzzle video; there is a quiz at the end of each video. There will be homework assignments due each week by Sunday night (30 questions each week). There will be 3 weekly short assessments, and one larger cumulative assessment at the end of the 4th week.
There will be a pdf file for students. This serves as a binder for their notes, but it will also have their assignments as well.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
At the end of the course, there will be 2 certificates. One certificate will be a certificate of completion; the other will be a certificate with a grade on it. If the student doesn't pass the final assessment, they can opt to do an alternate assessment to show their proficiency of the material. They can only do this if all of the work was submitted on time.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
There will be a binder of material that will need to be copied in order for students to take notes. We will use a google classroom for students to be able to access the video materials (through edpuzzle).
