Little scientists have the option of getting the weekly supplies and participating in the science activity or may choose to simply observe. Lastly, we will experiment with different ingredients in order to make longer lasting bouncing bubbles.
Each week our science journal will have a list of supplies.
Supplies: Balloon, Plastic Bottle, Vinegar, Baking Soda, Funnel, Tissue or Scrap Paper, Vegetable Oil, Salt, 4 Food Colors, Sugar, Half and Half, Vanilla Extract, rock salt (table salt will also work), 1 gallon bag, 1 quart bag, ice, 2-4 Lemons, Dish Soap, Spoon, Tray or Bowl (To catch our messes), Black and White Oreos. Optional: Flavoring such as chocolate or strawberry syrup. A rag or towel.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
