If your learner has been interested in eating healthy, understanding sugar and fat, learning the process of digesting food to create energy, or science in general, this class is a relaxing atmosphere to learn...
Students will learn the science of food and how their body uses food as fuel
I am a doctor of biology, not a medical doctor, and more importantly not your learner's personal doctor. This course is not meant to give personalized diet advice, but rather to explain the evidence-based science of food. I have given lectures on nutritional science in general biology university courses and have over 15 years of experience in scientific research.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class is based on scientific evidence and discusses the science of nutrition. It is not meant to give dietary advice. Speak to your medical doctor for recommendations regarding your personal health.
