US Grade 1
Welcome to first grade in our Flex course! This course is designed to be flexible for any schedule or time zone, with no live classes. Instead, each week will feature interactive quizzes and Kahoot challenges where learners can compete and strive to achieve the best or fastest score. Video lessons will also be provided, allowing learners to watch, pause, and review as needed. Science Supplies: Black and white Oreos, food coloring, cardstock or cue card, a tissue, small clear drinking glass, a large bowl, washable markers, paper towel, sugar, half-and-half, vanilla extract, 1 gallon freezer bag, 1 quart freezer bag, (as long as it's a bigger ziplock bag and a smaller ziplock bag, it will work) rock salt (table salt will also work), ice, balloons, tissue paper, scissors, salt, pepper, plastic spoon, clear plastic bottle, plastic drinking straw, paper clips, 2-4 lemons, dish soap, vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda, raisins, funnel, cheap hair conditioner, corn starch. Optional: Additional ice cream add ins, tiny pieces of cardboard, rag or towel.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
