🌟Join me as we we discover the wonders of the world through English, maths, and science in an ongoing class that covers the full Grade 2 curriculum. 🌟Explore fascinating topics such as gravity, money and time and how they apply to the real world by doing fun experiments and having interesting discussions. 🌟Dive into exciting stories and topics, and decrypt the magical code of phonics! 🌟By the end of the year learners will confidently achieve excellent grade 2 skills in writing, reading, spelling, phonics, and grammar, as well as counting, measuring, and calculating! 🌟Each learner will receive personalized feedback and continuous support in class and out. Beginners will be guided step-by-step and advanced students will be challenged so everyone feels included and engaged. 🌟This is an inclusive classroom environment and learners are welcome to participate in any way they feel most comfortable. All learners are unique and bring their strengths into the classroom. 🌟Students are welcome to join at any time during course. Lessons are modular. Learners will be provided with everything they need to thrive in class. 🌟 Lessons will typically entail a warm-up, pre-teaching, class discussion then practice. Some of the math and science classes might include experiments. If learners are required to bring materials to the lesson, I will let the class know on the class notice board ahead of time. I have been teaching academic literacy for almost twenty years. Over the years I have had the opportunity to teach across the grade spectrum from kindergarten to university. I believe that an inclusive and supportive classroom environment is important for learning that makes a difference.
