Reading is one of the most valuable life skills to learn in today’s postmodern digital economy. Whether you are preparing for university or getting ahead as a savvy young learner, reading for understanding and purposeful writing are tools you need to succeed. There are a myriad of different learner types and styles. This has a significant impact on the learner experience in the classroom and what curriculum is best suited to maximize each learning moment. This course is a learner-centered program that is designed around the student’s needs. Curriculum is based on subjects, topics, and skills to meet your goals. Each course will be discussed with you, the parent/s, and designed according to your child’s needs. My field of expertise are the following: - Academic literacy (reading and writing) - Elementary school tuition - Middle school tuition - High school tuition - Book studies and literature - IELTS - ESL All students are welcome! Your child will be supported on their learning journey while having fun along the way. It is well suited to students who are home-schooled and are looking for a full curriculum, struggling students who need auxiliary support with their literacy studies, and/or students who are preparing for exams. I hope to see you in class!
