Class Experience

US Grade 3
🌟 Join me as we we discover the wonders of the world through English in a private (1:1) class that covers the full 3rd Grade ELA curriculum.

🌟 Dive into exciting stories and topics and decrypt the magical code of phonics!

🌟 By the end of the year learners will confidently achieve excellent grade 3 skills in writing, reading, spelling and grammar!

🌟 Learners will receive personalized feedback and continuous support in class and out. This is a private class, so the pace and difficulty level of the lesson will be set at your child’s level. Beginners will be guided step-by-step and advanced students will be challenged.

🌟This is an inclusive classroom environment and learners are welcome to participate in any way they feel most comfortable. All learners are unique and bring their strengths into the classroom.

🌟 Students are welcome to join at any time during the year. Lessons are modular. Learners will be provided with everything they need to thrive in class.

🌟 Lessons will typically entail a warm-up, pre-teaching, class discussion then practice. If learners are required to bring materials to the lesson, I will let your child know on the class notice board ahead of time.

I have been teaching academic literacy for almost twenty years. Over the years I have had the opportunity to teach across the grade spectrum from kindergarten to university students. I believe that an inclusive and supportive classroom environment is important for learning that makes a difference.
