US Grade Preschool
During this ongoing one-on-one class, your learner will receive individual attention from Ms. Sara. I will create or adapt my current lessons based on parent input. Please send a message prior to our first class with your expectations. Our class will follow this general outline: *Introduction *Show & Tell *Instruction based on topics discussed with parents prior to class *Intentional, positive feedback about class to motivate learners *Wrap-up/Goodbye My goal is for your child to have a blast learning in my classroom so they're more likely to retain the information we discuss! Custom Class Ideas: * Reading & comprehension * Spelling * Interview preparation & resume writing * General preschool circle-time topics like counting, shapes, letters, letter sounds, calendar, seasons, etc. * ESL * Playschool - I will play games with your child, focusing mainly on social-emotional learning, while discussing general circle time topics. ***please message me so we can discuss this class in further detail so you are fully satisfied with the lesson***

Hi!
I'm Ms. Sara. I am so excited to be here. I have adored children since I was still a child myself. I have worked with children consistently for over 15 years. I live with my family in Nova Scotia, Canada on a small hobby farm. I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Human Resources Graduate Diploma. I’ve also completed Child Development and Child Psychology courses in my spare time… before I was chasing 4 children of my own! Prior to joining Outschool I was working with teachers in our local schools and desperately missed teaching children myself. No matter my educational background or experience, I have always returned to working with children. Knowing I am involved in a child's early education and social emotional learning is the ultimate reward. We moved to a rural area in 2018 so I closed my home-based preschool and began teaching online. This is my passion and my full-time, permanent career. Thank you so much for supporting my dream job! I love teaching and I am so excited to share my classes with all of you! I am an energetic teacher and a child at heart. My classes are often social and positive.
