Let's Play Dolls! Barbie, American Girl, Reborn, Baby Alive, Elsa & More

Hello!

You're invited to join our Pretend Play Social Club! If your learner is outside of this range but enjoys playing with the younger girls that’s perfectly okay too! Bring your doll or other toy to play with Ms. Sara and her toys once each week. She might bring her American Girl dolls too! We will start by introducing ourselves and our toy. Ms. Sara will facilitate pretend play while children extend playtime with their amazing imaginations. We will have fun creating new friendships and interesting adventures. You are welcome to bring a blanket, bottle, or anything that will make your toy friend comfortable during play time! You can bring props to add to the storyline too. Students will each have time to share, play and contribute during class. Ms. Sara's main goal is to have students playing together so they can socialize and have fun as if we were all at their house for playdate! To be successful this class is learner-directed but Ms. Sara will keep everyone motivated and on track. We are so excited to see you!

Between the ages of 5-8 children have an increased interest in friendship and belonging. During our time together, your learner will meet friends and feel included. Children learn about themselves and the world during playtime. We have an excellent opportunity for students to learn from each other during this class. Through pretend play, children can understand empathy, resilience, planning, delayed gratification, compromising and more. I am excited to watch your child grow and learn in my classroom! Please note, play changes significantly between the ages of 4-10. Please send a message if your child is outside the listed age range so we can find the best fit together.

I won't try to predict where our imaginations will take us but we will have general themes each week to get playtime started. You are welcome to submit theme requests!
