Beginner - Advanced Level
Fashion Design is more than sketching on paper. Creativity and Technique go hand in hand! 🔸This private course can be auto-scheduled using my available time slots. 🔸This course meets 4 times. 🔸I will assess the learner's knowledge and ability, then work on lessons where they are comfortable. Students will be following along the lessons, but are also encouraged to find their own style. Questions are encouraged as well! This is a private course with 1 student at a time, so it will tapered to fit each individual student. Beginner levels: We will create a base fashion Croquis. (Of course, students may use a printed Croquis instead, if they choose to skip this) At all other levels: We will bypass the creation of Croquis, and go into fabric flow and technique. Students may work traditionally or digitally. These are the recommended supplies to cover any lessons: Traditional: A printed Fashion Form (known as a Croquis) Plain white paper (8.5" x 11") Marker paper Fine tip black felt tip marker (non bleeding, like Copic or Micron), it's good to have a .5 and 1.0 if possible Ruler (with inches) Pencil and eraser Colored pencils and alcohol based markers -OR- Digital Art Medium: Tablet with art program of choice (I use Procreate) My favorite coloring tool is a free Watercolor brush, that I downloaded for free! Charged stylus pen
Learning Goals
