What's included

Group experience

This is a group for all students who are interested in fashion design, whether as an interest or as a career aspiration.

Students are encouraged to share pictures of fashion that they like, and host discussions about what they like and why.

As current events happen, students can share the latest fashions, both streetwear and runway. We will have special posts for big fashion events like the Met Gala and New York Fashion Week!

Every month there will be a Fashion Challenge, where students can submit a fashion sketch. Challenges may be seasonal, and can include something like: Design a swimsuit using only primary colors.

Students are encouraged to share other things too: Current fashion projects (drawings or sewing), outfit of the day, and up and coming trends they love. Students can also post questions about fashion design, the fashion industry, and anything else they can think of.

I have been teaching fashion design for years. I have taken classes at schools like FIT and Parsons and helped students get into those schools as well.
