In this ongoing tutoring class students will gain confidence in reading by improving their fluency, decoding and phonological understanding. All learners are welcome including ESL students and Neurodivergent learners .

Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their Fluency, decoding abilities, spelling and phonological understanding. Most Importantly they will gain confidence as a reader.
20 year veteran teacher in a brick and mortar school- Certified Teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers MA of science in education Additional qualifications in Special Education, Primary Education, Mathematics and trained in Orton Gillingham strategies
15 minutes of guided reading each day. Practice the skill that is suggested after our class. I will send a message to parents after each sessions with ideas for home study for example, practice spelling words with short vowel A.
Each learner will get a short report after each session outlining their strengths and next steps.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
