🔰 Experience:
I often took the lead in helping my siblings and peers with their school work. Thinking back, this is likely the foundation of my desire to pursue education. In high school, you could often catch me tutoring History and English. If I found someone struggling with concepts, comprehension, or timelines, I would jump at the opportunity to help.
In 2007, I started my undergraduate studies at Georgia Southern University. During my undergraduate tenure, I became a hired tutor through my alma mater for English, Philosophy, and History with a focus on Pre-K through College curriculum. In 2015 I decided to homeschool, co-op educate, and teach my oldest child who, like myself, had differentiated needs. I now educate all 5 of my children at home. In 2017 I started my journey remote teaching English as a Second Language full time to children and adults all over the world on various platforms. This led me on a path of teaching History, Social Studies, Novel Studies, English Language Arts, and English as a Foreign Language.
