Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 4
Beginner Level
This is a 15 minute daily high dose tutoring class led by a reading interventionist, **** PLEASE NOTE!!!**** if you have not had an assessment please schedule a private lesson to do so.

In this class your child will be taught the basic foundations of reading and writing daily for 15 minutes a day. We will cover the letter sounds, identifying individual letters in upper and lower case, writing basic sentences with proper grammar, high frequency words, and tracking sentences in this course.

This is a one to one course so your child's lessons will be designed with your child in mind. The class outline allows for focused instruction without the pressures of one minute challenges. My goal is wholistic understanding of how words work, how we utilize them, and to help new readers find a love in reading. I want your reader to feel secure in their journey.

I utilize a shared screen for this class with a virtual white board. This allows your student to draw, identify, and engage via writing with pen and paper.

Learning Goals

Students will know the sounds and letters of the alphabet.
Students will be able to identify vowels and consonants.
