Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
English Language Arts can be a daunting subject for many students and their parents, and I am here to help! Whether your learner is need of extended support in reading, grammar, writing, spelling, vocabulary, handwriting, all of the above or a combination of these, these tutoring sessions are for you! My tutoring classes are completely customizable to your learner's unique needs. My teaching style is relaxed yet structured, and highly interactive. I implement a variety of methods in my teaching, including slides, games, hands-on learning, videos, lecture, discussion, and much more. Learning Goals

Students will read on grade level or higher. Any gaps in their current reading level will be filled.
Students will learn major spelling rules as well as their exceptions.

Supply List
Learners will need a pencil. Access to a printer is recommended. Any additional supplies needed for a given session will be posted on the classroom page with at least two days notice.

I have over ten years experience teaching and tutoring learners of all ages and in a variety of subjects. I hold my TESOL certificate and have taught English in both private school settings as well as through private tutoring. I also teach and tutor reading and ELA and ESL for other online companies in addition to Outschool. I love teaching and working with young learners, including my own little ones who I teach at home. Many of these activities I bring into my classes have first been used with my own little ones.
