We will focus on eight vocabulary words from the National Reading Vocabulary lists for 6th and 7th grade each week. Each class will start with learning eight new vocabulary words along with their part of speech, synonyms, and ways to use the word in a sentence. I will encourage the learners to use the new vocabulary word in a sentence to demonstrate their understanding. After we have learned and practiced our eight new vocabulary words, we will have a Kahoot game to test their...
