The first case is the Tamám Shud case which involves the mysterious death of an unidentified man on Somerton Beach, near Adelaide, Australia. Students will strengthen their analytical reasoning skills as they learn how to apply evidence in unsolved cases, and to develop hypothesies to fit the evidence to date.
I have a passion for teaching, and forensic science has been an area of specialization for me for 15 years. I have a law degree from the University of Michigan, as well as graduate studies in Forensic Science. I have taught Forensic Science at colleges, schools, for homeschool groups, and more. My Unsolved Crimes series has been designed to bring fascinating cases into the forensic science class setting. I strive to engage kids in this fascinating topic and make them feel comfortable in this online setting.
