Lesson 1 week of Feb 24 : Introduction to Forensic Science Objective: Introduce students to forensic science and its role in solving mysteries. Lesson 2 week of March 3: Fingerprints and Identification Lesson 3 week of March 10: Evidence and Crime Scenes Lesson 4 week of March 17: DNA and How It Works Lesson 5 week of March 24:Trace Evidence and How It Tells a Story Lesson 6 week of March 31:Solving a Mystery! All lessons will be online through interactive videos and slides. At the end of each lesson we will have a class discussion about what we learned and any questions students may have. My teaching style is for students to have fun and be excited to come into my class! I

This is a forensic class so topics such as bullets, and crime scene will come up. All discussions, pictures, and videos will be age appropriate and NOT include any specific graphics.

A one-page handout will be provided before each class. Please have it printed out and ready to go before class starts. Students will also need a pencil and coloring supplies of their choice.
