This will be a weekly class that will go indefinitely! Students will have the opportunity to dive deeply into the field of forensic science. We'll go over the timetable listed below. We'll also talk about recent incidents in which forensic files have been used to help solve crimes. This will allow students to discuss relevant situations and apply critical thinking to see if they can solve a real-life problem.

Topics we will be going over: 
Week 1 -The basics of forensic science (what is it?) 
Week 2 Digital forensics 
Week 3 - Forensic DNA
Week 4 -Splatter Analysis
Week 5Identifying Teeth
Week 6-Ballistics
Week 7- Solving A case! 


We will be using lecture slides with some videos. There will be pictures with blood as we will be analyzing crime scenes. 
If the day lands on a holiday class we will not have class! :) example: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter
