故事、火花與分享：故事時間、創造力的火花、展示與講述

Story, Spark & Share is a creative, interactive class designed to spark your little one's imagination and confidence. 


CLASS EXPERIENCE:
Each class begins with a new engaging story to inspire creativity, followed by hands-on creative time based on the story where learners can use whatever materials they like, such as crayons, markers, colored pencils, paint, watercolors, clay, Legos, Magnatiles, Playdough, or anything else you have on hand that they love to create with. We end with a supportive show & tell, where learners proudly share their creations, fostering communication skills and connection with peers.


CLASS STRUCTURE:
Story Time (10 minutes): We’ll begin reading a picture book aloud that sets the theme. Each week the story is different, each with a new theme!
Creative Time (10 minutes): Learners will work on their projects inspired by the story, using materials of their choice.
Show & Tell (10 minutes): Each learner will have a chance to share their creation and talk about what inspired them.

WHAT WILL MY CHILD LEARN IN CLASS:
Each week features a new story that introduces a theme or idea, such as kindness, adventure, holidays, curiosity, or imagination, which will inspire their creative projects. Learners will develop listening, creative expression, and presentation skills. This class is perfect for children who love stories and enjoy expressing themselves through art and creativity.  They’ll also gain confidence in sharing their ideas and creations with others. By the end of each session, learners will feel proud of their creations and inspired to keep exploring their creativity.


WHAT DO I NEED FOR CLASS:
There is no prior knowledge or experience needed. All that students will need is listening ears and their material of choice to create with, like crayons, markers, colored pencils, paint, watercolors, clay, Legos, Magnatiles, Playdough, or anything else you have on hand that they love to create with to bring their ideas to life. 


MY TEACHING STYLE: 
I’ll guide students through each step with enthusiasm and encouragement, creating a warm and inclusive environment. The class is highly interactive, with plenty of opportunities for discussion and sharing. My teaching style is engaging, supportive, and flexible. I adapt to each learner’s creativity, encouraging them to express themselves in their unique way. This is a highly interactive class. Learners will engage during storytime, ask questions, share ideas during creative time, and receive individual attention during show & tell. 


ENROLLMENT & TRANSFER POLICY: 
Outschool policy says that only the learner enrolled is allowed to be in class (and therefore in the screen). If a sibling or friend would like to attend and participate in the class, they must be enrolled separately. I'm happy to transfer up to 24 hours before class. Any time less than this will not be enough for your child’s spot to be filled.
