In this weekly class, we will read short sentences based on sight words that are easy to read and memorize. There will be visual cues and oral practice to help learners recognize patterns in sight words. We will use these words to create funny sentences that will help us remember the words. We will practice the foundations of reading by learning the sounds each consonant and vowel make together. The 25 minute, interactive class will include rhymes, videos, jokes, and other ways to make learning English fun! If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me! Students will improve recognition and memorization of sight words. Students will socialize with others in a fun, interactive setting. Students will practice making new sounds by combining different letter sounds.

I use TPR (Total Physical Response) while teaching, using hand gestures and body motions to engage. I use many visuals, videos and props - I want your learner to get the most out of class, so I highly encourage student participation!

In that time, I worked with students on their reading, organization, and grammar skills.I have been with VIPKid, an online ESL teaching program, for 3 years. I have been with Magic Ears, another ESL teaching program, for 6 months.
