Students will improve their fluency of non-phonetic sight words from Fry's First 100 Sight Words, as well as implement the usage of the suggested phonemes from the research-backed, highly effective Orton Gillingham Method.
I have training in Orton-Gillingham for dyslexia. This was a masters level training.
Please choose one multi-sensory tool for your learner to trace his/her fingers over during the session for phonemes and sight words:
-plastic needlepoint canvas (99 cents)
-sand tray
-paint in bag
-soft fabric
-sandpaper
-carpet
