Sight words are words that are memorized to help students learn to read and write. Learning sight words allows students to recognize words at a glance and also makes reading easier and faster. When a child has a firm concept of sight words their reading becomes more fluent which helps students gain reading comprehension knowledge. Each week students will be introduced to new sight words using a variety of teaching strategies. Students will play a sight word game, practice writing sight...
For each class students will need: something to write on and write with OR a dry erase board, marker and eraser If additional materials are required, I will post at least 24 hours before class.
