This is a self-paced class, there will be no live lessons for this course you will be provided with prerecorded instructions videos every week to follow. Students will be sewing: Simplicity 1782 sewing pattern https://www.amazon.com/Simplicity-1782-Misses-Pattern-14-16-18-20-22/dp/B00DI8K4G6 Being able to learn to sew an item of clothing from start to finish will make learners more confident in using their sewing machines and using sewing patterns. Requirements: >Student will need to purchase sewing pattern: Simplicity 1782 sewing pattern either H5 -size 6-14 or R5 -size 14-22 -I will give all the info on selecting the correct pattern size in the 1st lesson. >Students must have experience in sewing. >Be able to sew a seam/hem and reverse on their sewing machine. >Be able to thread up their sewing machine. >Students will need to use sharp fabric scissors, pins and an iron.

How to Purchase Sewing Pattern & Fabric
-Student will purchase their sewing pattern and be advised on what fabric and notions to purchase to make the skirt. 課 2:

-The student will learn how to measure to make sure they use the correct size pattern and learn how to cut out the paper pattern. 課 3:

-The student will learn how to pin pattern pieces onto fabric and cut out the sewing pattern. 課 4:

Hello, my name is Hetty and I am a teacher living in the Cotswolds, picturesque countryside in the United Kingdom.
I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher of sewing, art and photography, I have been teaching 11 to 18 year olds in person since 2009 and I have recently decided to teach online and make educational resources full time.
I am looking forward to teaching creative skills and passing on knowledge to students from all over the world.
I will be teaching various lessons to a range of abilities – Sewing, Textiles, Photography, Art, Crafting and Fashion Illustration.
In my classes, I will aim to safely teach students creative techniques so that they can use these skills to be experimental and independent in their own creations. I believe that as a teacher I am here to show you the starting point so that you can use these skills to create from your own imagination.
I love learning new skills and teaching them to others and I look forward to welcoming you to my classes.
I am very flexible on schedule so if you are interested in a class but it doesn't fit your school day just message me.
