課堂經歷
In this private ongoing class we will be explore sewing on a sewing machine and fashion design. We will go over the manual and sewing machine to understand all it's functions and to fill at ease with it. We will practice threading the bobbin, and the machine. We will practice straight stitching, going around curves and corners. We will explore all the different tools, what they are and how they are they used. The student will learn how to measure her body and how to buy a pattern. I will teach her how to read a pattern, cut it out and make the garment. In this class the student will also make items without a pattern and draw her own pattern. We will also continue fashion sketching and designing with more understanding how it is sewn and created. Week of May 27- the machine/ manual- 1 week Week of June 3 - the tools and threading the machine and bobbin- 2 week Week of June 10- stitching- 3 week Week of June 17- create a bag- 4 week
