I will teach the executive function lesson(s) you select, from the available options. The class can be one on one or exclusive small group if your learner has siblings or friends that want to enroll together. Each learner will need their own enrollment, at a discount from the posted one on one rate. The class will include lecture and slides, discussion, problem solving, and optional homework. Some classes will have free digital tools. I make learning relatable by using real life or fictional examples. I make learning personally meaningful by showing learners how to apply the skills they learn in class to real world situations. I try to bring a sense of humor to everything I teach. Learners are welcome to interact as much or as little as they like. These sessions can also be used for body doubling to help learners stay on track with homework and other tasks. Body doubling builds on our natural instinct to align ourselves with what those around us are doing. If you have noticed that when one person yawns, other people will start to yawn, you have witnessed this instinct in action. It can be easier to initiate tasks, and maintain attention when we are with someone else who is initiating similar tasks. Choose any lesson, unit, or combination thereof: Unit 1 Lesson 1 Introduction What EF skills are, why they matter, optional homework: assessments for learners to find their strengths and challenges Note - the optional assessments are looking at Executive Function Skills and Multiple Intelligences. Learners are not required to share the results but may tell me privately if they wish, as it would help to guide what I teach.
