As a first grade teacher with over 25 years of experience in the classroom, I know first hand that when students struggle in reading, school can be a huge challenge for both students and their parents. 

Reading is a fundamental necessity that gives students confidence in all other academic areas. Many students can benefit greatly from one-on-one reading instruction. For these reasons and more, I wanted to offer individualized guided reading instruction through Outschool.

Our first lesson will be a reading assessment to determine your child's reading level. The next five lessons will be guided reading lessons, tailored to your child's reading level. Lessons can be two 25-min sessions each week or one 50-min session each week. I can work with each individual family to set up a schedule that best suits their child's needs.
