The Number Rods are a natural progression naming the quantity shown on each number rod with red and blue demarcations. Using the 3 Period Class, the child will name and count each Number Rod. I will be teaching with the Montessori material of number rods and the numerals. Number Rods are divided into sections equal to the shortest Rod , and alternate in color from red to blue.
