Many people have heard of Sudoku, but have you heard of Suguru? It is a new and exciting Japanese number puzzle that can be solved with logic. In this one-time class, students will learn how to solve a Suguru puzzle. Suguru has simple rules, but it can be quite challenging! A grid is split into "cages" that range in size from one square to five squares. The challenge then is to place the numbers 1-5 into the cages, making sure that no adjacent numbers are the same.
