"Your mind is a garden and books are the seeds, so pick a favorite, and bloom as you read!" This class will examine the classic American Revolution book, "Johnny Tremain" over the course of six weeks. We will examine vocabulary and comprehension questions from each chapter, but also dive into the world Esther Forbes created with history and geography enrichment activities too. Discussion questions will be posted for class collaboration on the board after each session, as well as, further enrichment activities and research topics. This is a delightful classic that will enthrall and enchant those who read it! Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom (including 4th grade and Texas History); substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level (History); assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins.
