Beginning with story time, I will read "The Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System" by Joanna Cole. Then with a video clip from Free School, we will examine our solar system. We will discuss where the planets and objects of our solar system and learn vocabulary words such as planets, gravity, light, heat, etc. The students will a map of our solar system on their paper. Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom (including 4th grade and Texas History); substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level (History); assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I have worked with early education all the way up to the community college level. My Bachelors is in childhood education with a Master's in American History.
