I am a licensed elementary educator with multi-grade level experience in reading and language arts. I will hone in on the necessary skills for a complete understanding of language arts concepts. Elementary reading is the crucial foundation necessary to build upon for future endeavors in education; and once that foundation is secure and stable, the stars are the limit. Simply provide me with a grade level/reading level to be my launching point and I will take it from there. Or perhaps your child has a favorite book or series? We could read through it together and work on fluency and comprehension. I will utilize paper materials (PDF will be delivered to you ahead of time) and books (hard copy, E-reader, or other online source). I will quickly access prior knowledge and build from there. I would be happy to answer any of your questions and/or concerns; please feel free to message me. I look forward to helping you and your child succeed!

Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom; substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level; assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I currently work with dual credit students in a partnership with Le Tourneau University (adjunct history professor) and One Day Academy (homeschool high school history teacher).
