Why learn cursive writing? Studies have shown that cursive writing stimulates the brain in ways that typing does not, and helps develop fine motor skills. Students who learn cursive writing tend to write more words, write faster, and express more ideas when writing by hand than by keyboard. Students will learn how to form lower case written letters and the main rules of writing in cursive, as well as strengthen their fine motor skills.
