In this class, students will learn how to make barbecue sauce and adjust the recipe to their liking by choosing and adjusting ingredients. We will learn the basics of measuring, combining ingredients, and boiling and simmering tips. This class will allow students to ask questions and learn the steps of combining ingredients to suit the taste buds as I guide each student step by step. This class will be fun and interactive. Your child will need NOT need to pre-measure their ingredients before...
Students will learn to measure ingredients using measuring cups and measuring spoons. Students will learn to mix ingredients by following a recipe. Students will work on following written instructions and listening to verbal instructions.
INGREDIENTS: ketchup brown sugar worcestershire sauce apple cider vinegar salt mustard powder garlic powder OPTIONAL: hot pepper sauce/ flakes fresh garlic minced garlic honey agave minced onions KITCHEN SUPPLIES: stovetop small or medium saucepan mixing spoon or spatula
