I am a freelance music teacher with twenty years of experience.

I teach students from preschool to high school and beyond.

I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in music performance and a master's degree in library and information science.

I teach flute (class and private), piano (class and private), recorder, fife and harp.

I was the harp teacher for Hillsborough County Public Schools for twelve years.

I have also taught band, flute ensemble, church choir and general music.

My philosophy of teaching is that anyone can learn to play an instrument with "time, patience and intelligent work." (Trevor Wye)

I am married and have a dog named Whitney!  I enjoy reading, walking and spending time with my family.
