***Some students prefer not to use paint and that's perfectly fine, join us with your crayons, colored pencils, and markers. Students will use permanent markers and watercolor paint or markers to make a new zentangle-style design each week. The atmosphere will be social and relaxing with a warm and engaging teacher. Students will gather to create, relax, and chat about their day. Students will learn how to use a color wheel as a tool to design with analogous and complementary colors. Students will have creative art experiences with permanent markers and watercolor paint.
Judy was a public school classroom teacher for over thirty years and holds a master's degree in Integrating the Arts Into the Curriculum from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In addition, she owned a small business that focused on literacy and the arts and has been an Outschool teacher for three years. Mrs. Harrison has extensive experience with neurodiverse, gifted, and homeschooled students. Join this AMAZING community of engaged artists (BEGINNERS WELCOME).
