This is a private art class which is appropriate for students who have a serious interest in improving their drawing skills and ability to draw realistically. Subject matter can range from drawing hands, portraiture, landscapes, still life objects, and other subjects based on the student's personal interests and skill level. Students will practice and improve upon their realistic drawing and rendering skills through a variety of exercises and studies, while receiving suggestions for improvement. We will work on foundational concepts of realistic drawing from observation using principles such as shading, proportion and depth.
I have a 4 year degree in Visual Arts and have been teaching private art students for over 10 years.
Drawing pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener, and several sheets of paper per class.
