愚蠢的骷髏萬聖節藝術與化裝舞會

* STEAM is an educational approach that incorporates the arts into the more-familiar STEM model, which includes science, technology, engineering and mathematics.  

The teacher will use a Google Slide presentation to introduce the human skeletal system and show examples of how a simple stick figure can be turned into a basic skeleton shape. Then, the students will take turns sharing the sports and hobbies they are involved in that would be fun to draw as a skeleton. 

Next, the students will follow step-by-step as the teacher models how to draw a basic skeleton shape.  A document camera and second camera will be used so the students can still see Judy as they follow her instructions.  Finally, the young artists will get to use their imaginations to draw 1-4 skeleton shapes that depict their personal interests. They will end up with a playful piece of skeleton art.

No experience is needed for this drawing class.  The teacher is patient, encouraging and enjoys children who think outside of the box.  

At the end of the session, students will be offered the chance to share their art with the rest of the learners.
